BP&L conducted a study at a busy and dynamic container terminal supporting gateway and transshipment trades to assess capacity and options for European freight links.
The port of Aqaba generally has created a real climate for change with the required structures capable of implementing and sustaining this change.
The container terminal is included in this modernisation programme delivered through a concession arrangement. This was developing the terminal and its operations through investment. The study considered how the terminal could support new intra-regional shipping connections.
